# Update Card Contact

> Update the cardholder notification email and mobile phone number associated with a virtual card

## Overview

The `PATCH /merchant/cards/{id}/contact` endpoint allows you to update the cardholder's contact details (email and mobile phone number). These contact details are used by the card network for transaction notifications, OTP verifications, and fraud alerts.

This endpoint is supported across both **Production (Live)** and **Sandbox (Test)** environments with live provider synchronization.

## Path Parameters

| `id` | `string` | **Yes** | The unique identifier or reference of the virtual card. |

## Request Body Parameters

Both fields are optional — only the fields you provide will be updated upstream.

| `email` | `string` | No | New email address to associate with the card (e.g. `"cardholder@example.com"`). |
| `mobile` | `string` | No | New mobile phone number to associate with the card (e.g. `"08012345678"` or `"+2348012345678"`). |
